NBE will be conducting NEET PG 2024 exam on August 11, 2024. Candidates are advised to download the admit card from the official website and read all guidelines for NEET PG 2024. Arrange all the documents to be carried to exam centre and not to bring debarred items such as ornaments, eatables, electronic items etc.

NEET PG 2024 exam: What to carry and what not at centre

NEET PG 2024 exam will be held on August 11 in computer-based mode. The exam will be held in 185 test cities in two shifts. The first shift of NEET PG 2024 exam will begin at 9 am and conclude at 12: 30 pm. Second shift timing is 3: 30 pm to 7 pm. National Board of Educations(NBE) has already released admit card for eligible candidates. They can download NEET PG 2024 admit card from the official website, nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in.  Candidates are advised to check all details given on NEET PG 2024 admit card and read exam guidelines carefully to avoid any hassle at exam centre. According to NEET PG 2024 pattern, a total of 200 multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam and candidates will get 3.5 hours to answer them. NEET PG 2024 result is expected to be declared on August 25.

NEET PG 2024 Last Minute Tips

  • Arrange your documents including NEET PG 2024 admit card and photo identity proofs in advance
  • Check the reporting time mentioned in the documents and try to reach centre half an hour before that
  • Don’t revise anything new as it creates confusion in mind
  • Take good care of health as you can’t afford to fall ill
  • Sleep at least 7-8 hours so that your mind gets adequate rest for exam day
  • Don’t think too much about outcome and keep one fact in mind your preparation is the best
  • Be positive always

NEET PG 2024 Exam Guidelines 

NEET PG 2024 exam guidelines include important facts which a candidate need to follow on exam day to avoid any hassle. Candidates can find exam day guidelines on admit card. Some of the guidelines have been enlisted below:

What to carry at NEET PG 2024 Centre

  • A coloured print out of admit card
  • Photocopy of permanent/provisional registration of MBBS qualification
  • A valid photo identification proof. The identification proof should be original & in hard copy. Candidates can carry below given identity proofs to exam centre
  1.      Pan Card
  2.      Voter ID
  3.      Aadhar card
  4.      Driving license
  5.      Passport

 What not to carry

Candidates are advised not to carry prohibited items at centre. In case of medicine or medical equipment, candidates need to carry supporting medical documents. The list of prohibited items have been enlisted below:

  • Electronic items such as calculator, pager, mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphone
  • Any eatable items and water bottles are not allowed
  • Ornaments such as bracelets, earring, nosepin, pendants etc
  • Stationary items like pen, paper, writing pad
  • Other items such as googles, handbags, purse, caps

NEET PG 2024 exam was held on August 11 in two shifts. The exam was conducted in computer-based mode. The question paper of NEET PG 2024 comprised 200 multiple choice questions and candidates were given 3.5 hours to answer them. NBE declared NEET PG 2024 result on August 23, 2024.

Q: Β  Will marks be deducted for unanswered questions in NEET PG?

A:

No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions as per the existing NEET PG pattern. Such questions will not be taken into consideration while calculating marks of a candidate. Candidates are advised to attempt only those questions where they are confident of right answer. If there is iota of doubt of correct answer, candidates are advised to leave that question. Otherwise, negative marking may reduce your total score which will ultimately impact your overall performance.

Yes. NBE has released official notification for NEET PG 2024 exam date after postponement. The exam was held on August 11 as per the revised schedule. The exam was held in two shifts. Earlier the exam was supposed to be held on June 23 but it was postponed. NBE declared NEET PG 2024 result on August 23, 2024. 

Q: Β  Will NEET PG 2024 exam held in pen and paper mode?

A:

No. NEET PG 2024 exam was held in online mode on August 11, 2024. According to NEET PG pattern, the question paper had 200 multiple choice questions and candidates were provided 3.5 hours to answer them. Candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. Qualifying cut off differ for each category. NBE declared NEET PG 2024 result on August 23, 2024.

Q: Β  Will NEET PG held for 2025-26 session?

A:

NEET PG 2025 may not happen as it will be replaced by NExT. AIIMS will release the official notification regarding NExT exam. Most probably the exit test will be implemented from August 2025 for 2020 batch MBBS students. The exam conducting body will clear air of doubts by October end most likley.
