NEET PG 2024 exam has been postponed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) amid recent incidents of allegations regarding the integrity of certain national-level entrance examinations. MoHFW has decided to undertake a thorough assessment of the NEET PG 2024 exam and the entrance examination process.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) organises the National Eligibility Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) exam for admission to various MD (Doctor of Medicine)/ MS (Master of Surgery) and PG Diploma courses across the country. The NEET PG 2024 exam was scheduled to be conducted on June 23, 2024. However, the examination has been postponed until further notice.
The authorities have notified that the NEET PG 2024 new exam dates will be announced soon by the exam conducting body on its official website.
The official notification highlights the Ministry of Health's sincere regrets for the inconvenience caused to the students because of NEET PG 2024 exam postponed news. These authorities have mentioned that the decision has been taken in the best interest of the students and to maintain the sanctity of the examination process.
NEET PG 2024 Exam Postponed: People Share Disappointment on Social Media
Dr Mudasir Bhat, a user of social media platform X, formerly Twitter said " People have travelled miles, made reservations. Postponement of exam should have been notified earlier, atleast a week before"
Further, the FAIMA Doctors Association considered the postponement as harassment of the doctors. The association said "Absolutely disgraceful! The NEET PG exam postponed again, just a day before it was scheduled! This is pathetic harassment of doctors who traveled, spent money, and sacrificed time.Govt's incompetence in managing a well-planned exam is unacceptable. We demand an immediate explanation!".
