NEET Result 2020 Expected to be released by Oct 12, Answer Key to be Out by Sep 28

Candidates eager to find out their NEET result 2020 will have to wait until October 12, hints an official at NTA. NEET 2020 official answer key expected to be out by September 28.

Candidates who took the National Entrance cum Eligibility Test (NEET) on September 13 are eagerly waiting for the provisional answer key by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Though the unofficial NEET 2020 answer keys for all question paper codes are now available online, students still feel the need to check their answers with the official answer key. Talking about the release of the NEET 2020 official answer key, a highly placed official at NTA hinted that it can be released on September 28. He also confirmed that the result for NEET 2020 is likely to be announced by October 12.

NEET 2020 was conducted successfully across 155 test cities in India. Since the examination was conducted in an offline mode, candidates were required to mark their answers on an OMR sheet. These sheets will also be made available to the candidates who had taken the test.

NTA will upload the scanned copies of the NEET 2020 OMR sheet on the official website. Candidates will be able to download both, NEET answer key 2020 and the OMR sheet, by logging into their registered accounts. The next process will be filing objections against the provisional NEET 2020 answer key. Candidates will have to pay submit justifications supporting their claims and will have to pay a sum of Rs 1,000 per question. This amount will be refunded to the candidates whose claims are accepted by NTA.

Following this, NTA will release the final answer key for NEET 2020. Candidates must note that this answer key will be released along with the NEET 2020 result on October 12. This answer key will be final and will not be subject to change.
