NEET SS 2022: Registration for Mop-up round begins today; Seat allotment on Feb 17
As per the MCC's schedule, NEET SS 2022 registration will commence today, February 13, 2023, and will end on February 15, 2023. The payment facility will be available up to 4 pm on February 15, 2023. The choice filling is also starting today and will end on February 15, 2023. The choice locking will be available from 5 pm up to 11:59 pm on February 15, 2023.
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is all set to start the registration process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2022, today, February 13, 2023, and the last date to register is February 15, 2023.
The choice filling will also be held between February 13, 2023, and February 15, 2023. The payment facility will be available up to 4 pm on February 15, 2023. The choice locking will be available from 5 pm up to 11:59 pm on February 15, 2023.
The processing of seat allotment will be done on February 16, 2023, and the publication of the result is scheduled for February 17, 2023. All the selected candidates can report at the allocated institutes between February 18, 2023, to February 23, 2023, up to 5 pm.
"As per the approval accorded by MoHFW (F. No. U-12021/05/2022-MEC) Medical Counselling Committee of DGHS will conduct a Special Mop UP Round for the vacant Super Specialty (D.M/ M.Ch/ DNB SS) Seats across India in an online mode," reads the official statement.
NEET SS 2022 cut-off percentile has been reduced for each speciality. As per the revised cut-off percentile, the candidates who scored a minimum 20 percentile will be eligible for the mop-up round counselling.
The Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) had requested the government to take a mop-up round for the vacant 1000 seats after the round-2 NEET SS seat allotment 2022 was declared.
FORDA also thanked the government for conducting a mop up round. Their tweet reads "We Thanks #NBEMS for taking cognizance of our genuine demand of #NEETSS Counselling! By This step no seats of #DM/ #MCH will be vacant. This will add on manpower to healthcare system! Kindly Listen to #NEETPG Aspirants too!"
