NEET UG 2021 registration for Round 1 counselling started; check steps to apply online
NEET UG 2021 registration for Round 1 counselling has started today, on January 19, at the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) official website mcc.nic.in. Read here to know the steps to apply online.
Candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses under AIQ must note that the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the NEET UG 2021 registration for Round 1 counselling. The last date to register for the counselling is January 24. This year, MCC is conducting four rounds of counselling that will conclude on March 22.
Following are the steps that need to be followed to apply online for NEET UG 2021 Round 1 counselling:
- The interested candidates need to register on the official website www.mcc.nic.in or directly visit https://mcc.nic.in/counseling/Root/Home.aspx?enc=yVQCIiq12npg+pcvNJRdc3kepQTq5gfxUedDn3j/18l/qQzUB5RNn1iR+IHmcYNs
- Candidates need to fill in details such as personal details including name and they need to fill in the registration number and academic details as mentioned in their NEET 2021 scorecard.
- Candidates need to pay a registration fee for completing the registration process. The non-refundable fee for 15 per cent AIQ/ Central Universities for General Category is INR 1,000 and for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD category, it is INR 500. The non-refundable fee for all categories in Deemed Universities is INR 5000. About refundable tuition fee, for 15 per cent AIQ/ Central Universities, INR 10,000 is for General category and INR 5,000 for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD category and for Deemed Universities (all categories), it is INR 2,00,000.
After the registration process is complete, the candidates need to fill the choices by logging on to the official portal, they can fill any number of choices from the list provided and can add and delete a choice. The choice filling can be done between January 20 to January 24. After filling in the choices, the candidates must save a copy of the choices filled for future reference. MCC will declare the seat allotment for NEET-UG 2021 Round 1 on January 29.
