NEET UG 2023 date likely to be announced soon by NTA; Know application process, eligibility

National Testing Agency (NTA) can announce the NEET UG 2023 exam date soon, read here to know about the application process and eligibility criteria.

As per reports, the National Testing Agency (NTA) can announce the examination date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2023 anytime soon at the official website neet.nta.nic.in. Hence, interested candidates are advised to keep visiting the site for all the latest updates.

The NEET UG 2023 notification is expected to be out by March 2023 while the examination is expected to be conducted in May 2023. However, there are no official announcements yet on the same.

NEET UG 2023 Eligibility

The following are the eligibility criteria to apply for NEET UG 2023:

• The candidates should be Indian citizens, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), or Foreign Nationals.
• They must have either passed or appearing for 10+2 or equivalent exam in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects. Also, they must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% and 45% (Reserved category candidates).
• Candidates must have attained the age of 17 years at the time of admission or attain the same by December 31, 2023.

Steps to apply for NEET UG 2023 

The candidates must follow these steps to apply for NEET UG 2023:

• Log on to the official website -- neet.nta.nic.in
• On the homepage, click on the link which says, "NEET UG 2023 Registration Link"
• Enter the login credentials and other details
• Pay the application fee and upload all the required documents
• Click on submit.

About NEET UG 2023 exam

It will be held in pen and paper mode in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Odia, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. NEET UG 2023 exam paper will cover Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from the class 11 and 12 syllabi.
