As per reports, NEET UG 2023 registration will commence on February end at the official website neet.nta.nic.in. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 7, 2023. The registration was expected to begin tentatively between the end of January and the last week of February, read here for more details.

Reportedly, NEET UG 2023 registration will start by the February 2023 end. There is no official announcement by the National Testing Agency (NTA) but as per media reports, the application process is going to start soon. 

As per the Indian Express report, NTA Chief Vineet Joshi has said that NEET UG 2023 registration will start by the end of this month.

Once the registration process gets started, the candidates would be able to apply at the official NTA website - neet.nta.nic.in. To register they must visit the official website and on the home page click on the NEET registration 2023 link. Next, they need to log in again and fill up the NEET application form, upload scanned documents and images and pay NEET UG application fee, and submit the NEET UG 2023 registration form.

NEET UG 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria to apply for NEET UG 2023 exam:

  • The candidates must have attained the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should attain the same by December 31, 2023.
  • The exam is open for candidates of Indian origin, NRI, or Overseas Citizens of India category.
  • Candidates must have passed the Class 12 exam in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% and 45% (Reserved category candidates).

This year also it is expected that more than 18 lakh aspirants will appear in the exam which is conducted for admission to the medical UG courses including MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental /AYUSH and other Colleges/ Deemed Universities /Institutes (AIIMS & JIPMER) in India.
