Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a list of 241 candidates who changed their nationality from Indian to NRI in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) counselling 2022 round 2.

"These candidates have been converted provisionally from INDIAN to NRI for the purpose of UG counselling 2022-23 on the basis of scrutiny of documents sent by them to MCC of DGHS. However, the candidates have to produce the same original documents at the time of reporting in case an NRI seat is allotted to them, failing which their admission is liable to cancel," reads the official notification.

NEET UG Counselling 2022 Round 2 Details

MCC has extended the round 2 choice filling and locking rounds from November 8 to November 9. The choice-locking process will be conducted today, November 9, from 3 pm to 11.55 pm. 

“MCC of DGHS is in response to several E-mails to reopen the choice filling. Hence it is decided by the competent authority to extend the schedule up to 09.11.2022. The Choice Filling extended up to 11:55 P.M of 09.11.2022. Choice Locking will be made available from 03:00 P.M of 9th November 2022 up to 11:55 P.M of 09.11.2022,” reads MCC's statement.

The seat allotment result for round 2 will be announced on November 11, 2022, and the candidates can report to the allotted institute from November 12 to November 18, 2022.
