Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is all set to reopen the reporting portal for the first round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling 2023 till tomorrow.

As a one-time measure, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will reopen the reporting portal for the first round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling 2023. The portal will remain open till 3 pm tomorrow, August 9. 

"Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS receives requests from some colleges who have taken ‘Offline’ admissions of allotted candidates for Round-1 of UG Counselling 2023 despite the time provided for verification on 5th & 6th August 2023. In the larger interest of the candidates, MCC is re-opening the Reporting portal for Round-1 as a one-time measure," reads MCC's notification.

MCC stated that no further extension will be granted and advised colleges to stick to the timeline. “Any request for extending the time further will not be entertained by MCC. Colleges/ Institutes are directed to stick to time schedule and follow timelines stringently in future,” it said.

MCC issues notification for admission under CW category Delhi Quota

"Candidates seeking admission under CW category to various UG Courses (MBBS/BDS/ BAMS/BUMS/BHMS) under 85% Delhi quota for the academic year 2023- 24 may take notice of the directions (copy of notice enclosed below) issued by Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi for submission of documents on

the portal provided by Delhi University," reads MCC's notification.

Candidates are hereby informed that the verification process is for the new candidates who have not been verified earlier. Therefore, candidates may take necessary action for the verification of CW category entitlement, added MCC's statement.
