NIRF Ranking 2023: AIIMS Delhi again secures topmost position among medical colleges of India

The government has announced the 8th edition of the NIRF Rankings today, June 5, 2023. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS New Delhi) has maintained its number one position in the rankings, read here for more details.

The Minister of State for Education and External Affairs Rajkumar Ranjan Singh has announced the 8th edition of the NIRF Rankings today. In the medical category, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS New Delhi) once again secured the topmost position. It has been at the top of the NIRF Rankings for the sixth time now. Moreover, AIIMS Delhi has been ranked 6th in the overall category.

Other medical colleges that followed the AIIMS Delhi in NIRF Ranking 2023 are - PGIMER (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research), Christian Medical College, and others.

NIRF Rankings are given based on basis of various parameters including Teaching, Learning, Resources (TLR), Research, Professional Practice and Collaborative Performance (RPC), Graduation Outcome, Peer Perception and Outreach and Inclusivity.
