NMC has directed all medical colleges and institutions to follow the guidelines for the Competency Based Postgraduate Training Programme uploaded on its website.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has asked all medical colleges and institutions to follow the guidelines for the Competency Based Postgraduate Training Programme uploaded on its website. The guidelines are for various broad and super speciality subjects.

As per the notification, the guidelines have been scrutinized by the Reconciliation Board cum Expert Group of NMC.

The notification reads, "The National Medical Commission, through Subject Expert Groups, has prepared GUIDELINES FOR COMPETENCY BASED POSTGRADUATE TRAINING PROGRAMME for various broad and super speciality subjects. These guidelines have been scrutinized by the Reconciliation Board cum Expert Group of NMC and are uploaded on the NMC website. These guidelines will be mandatory teaching-learning material for all institutions/colleges under NMC."

 

NMC filling up various posts at headquarters and its four Autonomous Boards

NMC recently invited applications for hiring Legal officers and other posts in its headquarters and its four Autonomous Boards in New Delhi on a contractual basis for a period of three years. There are three posts of Legal officers available and the essential qualification is LLB with a minimum of 55% marks, 10 years of standing in the profession after registration with the Bar Council of India, and experience working in the law department in the Central government, state government, or autonomous organisation. The remuneration will be INR 67,700 (inclusive of taxes). 

Other posts include Accounts Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Hindi Officer, Junior Hindi Translator, Accountant, Librarian/Assistant Librarian, and Store Keeper. The applications for these posts must reach NMC's office latest by July 10, 2022.
