NMC reiterates to rectify deficiencies in Eligibility Certificate
The deadline given to rectify the deficiencies in the Eligibility Certificate is March 22, 2024.
NMC has released public notice related to the pending applications for Eligibility Certificate deficiency. The Commission has already conveyed to rectify the deficiencies more than 5 times. Once again, NMC requested that the deficiencies conveyed be rectified at the earliest by March 22, 2024.
The Commission has observed that till now a total of 320 applications are lying pending with the applicants despite repeated intimation of the deficiency to the respective applicants. The applicants have completely unaddressed the repeated intimation. The Commission has released a list of such applications with tracking no attached for ready reference.
"It is requested that the deficiencies conveyed may please be rectified at the earliest latest by 22nd March 2024. No correspondence in connection with these applications will be entertained after 22nd March 2024 and all such applications will be closed thereafter. for inaction on the part of such applicants," reads the official notification.
In this regard, the candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website of NMC. On March 4, 2024, NMC released the measures to avoid mistakes while applying for the Eligibility Criteria that include - candidates must fill out the applications by themselves, keep their documents handy, provide active mobile numbers to get the alerts and deficiencies, they should scrupulously check entries and ensure conformity with the details.
Earlier last year, the Commission notified that a total of 972 students who have been admitted to foreign medical colleges have not obtained the mandatory Eligibility Certificate.
