NTA Releases Exam City Allotment Details and Instructions

NEET 2021 exam city allotment information along with the exam taking instructions have been released by NTA. Candidates can check the details by logging in to the NEET 2021 official website.

NEET 2021 Exam City Allotment Details Released

The National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body for NEET 2021 has released the exam centre allotment details and instructions for the candidates on August 20. NTA has clarified that it is not the NEET 2021 admit card, but advance information on the exam city wherein their NEET 2021 exam centre will be located. This would help them in making travel plans and necessary arrangements accordingly.

How to Check NEET 2021 Exam City Allotment

To view the details of the exam city and instructions, candidates will have to follow the steps given below:

  • Visit the official website of NEET i.e. neet.nta.nic.in

  • Click on the tab reading โ€˜View Advance Information for Allotment of Centre Cityโ€™

  • Enter Application Number, Date of Birth in DD/MM/YY format from the drop-down menu and the Security Pin

  • Click on โ€˜Submitโ€™

Details Mentioned on the Advance Information on Exam Centre Document

Upon logging in, candidates will be able to view the following information:

The document states, โ€œThis is NOT the admit card for NEET (UG) โ€“ 2021. This is an advance information for allotment of Centre City, to facilitate the candidate. The Admit Card shall be issued later. In case any candidate faces difficulty in downloading/checking the Examination City Intimation Slip for NEET 2021 along with Instructions on โ€˜How to fill in OMR Answer Sheetโ€™, he/she can contact on 011-40759000 or e-mail at neet@nta.ac.in."

As per NTA, the NEET 2021 admit card is expected to be released three days prior to the exam day, i.e. September 9. However, NTA may release it before the slated schedule. The exam will be conducted on September 12 in 202 cities of India and abroad. The exam is scheduled from 2 pm to 5 pm in paper-pencil based mode.
