The Odisha NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 choice filling process is ending today, September 23, 2024, 11.55 PM. In this round, there are 158 MBBS and 412 BDS seats available for allotment. Candidates who were allotted seats in Round 1, but wish to participate in Round 2, need to submit fresh choices. Know the detailed procedure and important dates here.
The Odisha NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 choice filling process is ending today, September 23, 2024, 11.55 PM. Although originally the last date to submit choices was September 16, 2024, the schedule was postponed, or extended on account of the revision of seat matrix across India.
The Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) Committee or the counselling authorities for the state had released the list of seat vacancies, which includes 158 MBBS and 412 BDS seats. Before starting the choice filling process, candidates are advised to take a printout of the seat matrix and decide which courses or institutes to submit during the choice filling process.
How to Fill and Lock Choices for Odisha NEET 2024 Counselling
Candidates have to follow the steps given below to fill and lock choices for Odisha NEET 2024 counselling:
- Visit the official website of OJEE NEET 2024 Counselling - https://ojee.nic.in/couselling-for-mbbs_bds_courses/
- Click on Counselling for MBBS/BDS OJEE – 2024
- Enter NEET Application Number and Password
- Click on Sign In
- Click on the Choice Filling tab
- Enter the choices and arrange them in preferential order
- Lock the choices and click on the submit tab
OJEE has stated, “Candidates who were allotted seats in first round but not reported for admission, have to login and give their consent for participating in 2nd round counselling and fill and lock fresh sets of choices within due date and time. It may be noted that the choices, filled by these candidates in the earlier round, shall be null and void. So, unless they fill and lock fresh choices for 2nd round, it will be assumed that they are not interested to participate in counselling and they shall go out of the system.”
Candidates who have not been allotted seats, or did not join the allotted institutes in Round 1 of Odisha NEET 2024 counselling have to fill fresh choices. However, those who do not wish to modify their choices, need not make any changes, as their original choices will be considered for seat allotment.
The provisional seat allotment result will be declared on September 24, 2024, and the queries can be submitted till September 25, 2024. The final result will be declared on September 26, 2024. The second round of Odisha NEET 2024 counselling will conclude on October 2, 2024.

Moreover, they will also not be eligible to participate for the next round of NEET state counselling once they join an institute.
