The Odisha NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 provisional merit list has been released by Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) Committee. Candidates can submit queries or grievances against the provisional merit list or individual merit position by September 12, 2024, 5 PM.

The Odisha NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 provisional merit list has been released by the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) Committee. Candidates can submit queries or grievances against the provisional merit list or individual merit position by September 12, 2024, 5 PM. OJEE has also released the seat vacancy list for the second round of state medical counselling.

As many as 5,601 candidates have been included in the Odisha NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 merit list. The registration process was conducted from September 8 to September 9, 2024. Only those candidates who have completed their registration process for the second round have been included under the merit list. The final merit list for Odisha NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 will be released on September 13, 2024.

In this round, a total of 412 MBBS and BDS seats are vacant. While the total number of MBBS seats is 158, the BDS seats are 412.

The choice filling and locking processes for Odisha NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 will be conducted from September 14, 2024, 8 PM to September 16, 2024, 11.55 PM. The provisional seat allotment list will be declared on September 17, 2024, 5 PM, and queries can be submitted within 24 hours. The final seat allotment result for Odisha NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 will be declared on September 19, 2024. The institute reporting process will be conducted from September 21 to September 26, 2024.

Q:   What is the current scenario of the Odisha NEET counselling?

Odisha NEET UG counselling 2024 for the academic year 2024-25 Stray Vacancy or Spot Counselling round has concluded on November 3, 2024. As many as 100 candidates have been admitted seats in this round, which is supposedly the last and final round. The counselling process had started on August 10, 2024. 

Odisha NEET 2024 counselling Round 3 was conducted from October 7 to October 30, 2024. 

The Round 2 provisional seat allotment result was declared on September 24, 2024, and the final result was declared on September 26, 2024. The institute reporting and admission fee payment procedure was conducted from September 28 to October 2, 2024.

The registration process for the Round 2 of Odisha NEET 2024 counselling concluded on September 9, 2024. The provisional and final merit lists have been released on September 11 and September 13 respectively. The choice filling and locking rounds is being conducted from September 14 to September 23. The schedule for the Odisha NEET 2024 counselling for Round 2 and further rounds have been revised on account of the change in the seat matrix.

Odisha NEET UG counselling process is conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE). OJEE conducts the counselling process for the undergraduate medical courses, MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS. It is the state counselling for the 85 per cent State Quota (SQ) seats of the Odisha state. Candidates who qualify for the NEET exam are eligible to participate in this state counselling. Even though OJEE is the counselling authority for Odisha NEET UG counselling, the process and rules are inclined as per the Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS). Odisha NEET UG Counselling is done by a Committee consisting of OJEE Chairman, OJEE Vice-Chairman, OJEE Secretary OJEE, and three Members  (Additional Director of DMET Odisha, and two other Members).
