Odisha NEET counselling 2022: The counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions in Odisha will end on Friday, said authorities of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE).

The counselling process for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in 14 medical colleges of Odisha is going on right now through Odisha NEET counselling 2022. Authorities of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) are holding engineering and medical counselling processes in the state and the admission process will end on Friday.

Out of 1635 seats under the state quota, admission is going on for 1563 seats in round 1.

As per the TOI report, admissions will be held for 1700 MBBS seats in 10 government medical colleges and two private medical colleges and hospitals.

Also, admission is going on for 163 BDS seats in one state-run dental college and a private dental college.

In Odisha, OJEE conducts counselling for 85% of MBBS and BDS seats of medical and dental colleges leaving 15% to All India Quota (AIQ) for which counselling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

About Odisha NEET counselling 2022

The counselling will be conducted in three rounds - round 1, round 2, and mop-up round. The reservation policy for Odisha NEET counselling is as follows - Scheduled Tribe (ST)12%, Scheduled Cast (SC) 8%, Physically Challenged (PC) 3%, Ex-Servicemen (ES) 3%, and Green Card Holders (GC) 5%.

Documents required for verifications are - NEET 2022 scorecard, NEET 2022 admit card, Marksheet and certificates of Class 10, Marksheet and certificates of Class 12, Domicile Certificate (if applicable), Caste/Community Certificate (if applicable), and PwD Certificate (if applicable).
