Candidates who have not participated in the first round, or have not been allotted seats, or have not accepted seats in Round 1 will be eligible to participate in the Odisha NEET 2024 counselling Round 2.
How to Register for Odisha NEET 2024 Counselling Process
Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to register for Odisha NEET 2024 counselling process.
- Visit the official website of Odisha NEET 2024 counselling â ojee.nic.in or directly enter the link https://admissions.nic.in/ojee/applicant/root/Home.aspx?enc=b6w3EPyuw0C4FADZ4v1XmRqUtJRsPfd9/QAdq6Q7sCh/mY2PJiwTmL5tOTomSuWx
- Read the instructions and click on the âI Agreeâ checkbox
- Enter the mandatory details such as NEET 2024 application number, name, date of birth, gender, Security Pin
- Click on Submit
- Registration credentials will be generated
- Login with the credentials and fill up the mandatory details and upload the documents
- Pay the application fee of INR 1,000 in online mode with credit card, debit card or net banking.
Candidates can resign the seats allotted to them in Round 1 of Odisha NEET 2024 counselling till September 10, 2024. The seat vacancy list will be out on September 10, 2024, 5 PM. The provisional merit list will be released on September 11, 2024. The second round will conclude on September 26, 2024.

Yes, candidates can participate in both the national level NEET counselling for the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats and the 85 per cent State Quota seats. However, if a candidate has already joined an institute, then he or she will no longer be eligible to participate in other state/national level counselling. Moreover, they will also not be eligible to participate for the next round of NEET state counselling once they join an institute.
Q: Â Who conducts Odisha NEET UG counselling?
Odisha NEET UG counselling process is conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE). OJEE conducts the counselling process for the undergraduate medical courses, MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS. It is the state counselling for the 85 per cent State Quota (SQ) seats of the Odisha state. Candidates who qualify for the NEET exam are eligible to participate in this state counselling. Even though OJEE is the counselling authority for Odisha NEET UG counselling, the process and rules are inclined as per the Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS). Odisha NEET UG Counselling is done by a Committee consisting of OJEE Chairman, OJEE Vice-Chairman, OJEE Secretary OJEE, and three Members (Additional Director of DMET Odisha, and two other Members).
