Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh is all set to organise a Hands on Workshop on Applied Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare from February 25 to February 26, 2023. The workshop is for Clinicians and Medical Researchers and the registration fee is INR 5000.

The Hands-on Workshop is being organised by the Regional Resource Centre, Department of Telemedicine at PGIMER.

The learning will include AI Core Concepts, AI Deep Dive, AI Applications, Challenges and Bottlenecks, Multi-Modality Healthcare Data, Applied Machine Learning in Clinical Research, Data Preprocessing in Healthcare Data, Data Privacy and Governance in Healthcare Data, Applied Machine Learning in Healthcare, Deep Learning Methodologies in Healthcare, AI in Genomics, and Valedictory.

PGIMER to conduct CME on Challenges in Hospital-acquired infections

The medical institute will conduct a CME on Challenges in Hospital-acquired infections Organized by the Department of Medical Microbiology, PGIMER.

The highlights of the CME are - Hand Hygiene, Device associated infections, Biomedical waste management and needle stick injury, Antibacterial and antifungal stewardship, Nosocomial tuberculosis, HAI control in emergency settings, Point of care tests and diagnostic stewardship in HAI control, Automation in HAI, Debate on Will artificial intelligence take over infection control?

Abstract categories include Hand hygiene, Device associated infections, Biomedical waste management and needle stick injuries, Antibacterial and antifungal stewardship, and Outbreaks in the hospital setting.
