Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Sector 45, will collect data of 80 plus residents of Sectors 45 and 46 to extend them health assistance. The data will be obtained from the police station or beat boxes concerned the Chandigarh police. All senior citizens identified by the college will be assigned students individually for health assistance.

Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Sector 45, in collaboration with the Ayush dispensary of the UT Administration, is all set to make a list of 80 plus residents living in sectors 45 and 46 of Chandigarh and extend them assistance in health and wellness issues.

The data of senior citizens will be obtained from the police station or beat boxes concerned the Chandigarh police.

The college has been directed to aid these senior citizens in dealing with health issues. All senior citizens identified by the Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College will be assigned students individually for assistance, said the official orders, as reported by Tribune India.

Once, the senior citizens are assigned students, with the consent of these residents, the students will periodically visit and assist them with health and wellness issues.

More Details

The college will further assist the UT Administration by providing senior faculty or doctors free of cost to the Directorate of AYUSH for special health check-ups or screening camps. Also, the decision to start the panchakarma packages at the Ayurvedic Dispensary, Sector 37, was taken three to four months ago and was reiterated during the governing body meeting held under the chairmanship of the Adviser to UT Administrator a month ago.

Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College has now agreed to provide necessary assistance to immediately start panchakarma, which involves five purification methods to eliminate the aggravated doshas, process at the Sector 37 dispensary.
