Sufiya Nursing College, Infamous for REET Exam Cheating, Listed Under NEET 2024 Exam Centre; Students Surprised

NEET 2024 exam will held in 4 exam centres of Nagaur Headquarters with 1592 students appearing for the exam from 2 PM today. 

Sufiya Nursing College Controversy

The NEET 2024 exam centre, Sufiya Nursing College was in trend when a cheating gang during the REET 2021 exam was caught and taken into custody. The police department, a day before the REET exam, arrested Javed Akhtar, his brother Khalid and three government faculties for taking bribes of INR 10 Lakh against leaking exam papers to 25 students. The allegations are still active and the alleged culprits have not yet got a clean chit. This has caught the attention of the Internet and students are scared and furious about NTA's decision to make Sufiya Nursing College as NEET 2024 exam centre.

Guilty Staff To be Invigilator During NEET 2024 Exam 

Further, students are more concerned because Javed Akhtar, guilty during the REET exam cheating case, will be among the invigilation team during the NEET 2024 exam. Students are concerned about the transparency during the NEET exam and scared that their hard work will go in vain. 

Consequently, Dr Vivek Pandey who is a social and political activist shared on X “Why was Sufiya Nursing College, known for facilitating cheating during the REET exam, chosen as a NEET exam centre?”
