TN: Admissions open for PG in MD in Yoga, Naturopathy; Apply by Nov 17

The candidates are instructed to visit the website at least two times a day for updates from the date of issue of application till the end of admission process without fail. Selection Committee will not be responsible for consequences resulting due to non-diligent follow-up of notification and publications appearing on the website regarding admission to Post Graduate Degree courses 2023-2024 session, said the official notification. 

Health & Family Welfare Department of Tamil Nadu invited applications for admission to Post Graduate Courses in Yoga & Naturopathy 2023-2024 session in Govt. Yoga & Naturopathy Medical College, Chennai, and International Institute of Yoga & Naturopathy Medical Sciences, Chengalpattu. The application form can be downloaded from the official website - www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in.

Admission to Post Graduate Courses in Yoga & Naturopathy will be made purely on merit, based on the marks obtained in the Entrance Examination that will be conducted by the Selection Committee, Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy together with the post BNYS / ND experience marks. 

Tentatively Entrance Exam will be conducted on the date announced in website www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in shortly and venue of the Entrance Exam will be announced by the Selection Committee, Arignar Anna Govt. Hospital of Indian Medicine Campus, Chennai-106.

All Candidates who apply for the Post Graduate M.D (Y&N) course should remit a nonrefundable amount of INR 3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only) towards Application Cost, through SBI e-Collect. The candidates belonging to SC/SCA/ST are exempted from paying application cost. 

All Candidates who participate in the counselling will have to remit a non-refundable amount of INR 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) by CASH only, as processing fee for attending counselling. 

"The candidates who are selected at the time of counseling shall remit a non-refundable sum of INR 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) by CASH only. After the receipt of the joining report from the Principal of the Govt. Yoga & Naturopathy Medical College, Chennai and International Institute of Yoga & Naturopathy Medical Sciences, Chengalpattu this amount will be transferred to the Colleges to get adjusted with the Tuition Fees to be paid by the candidates. If the candidate fails to join the course after getting allotment order within the stipulated time, he/she will forfeit this amount as well as seat allotted," said the official statement.
