UP NEET Counselling 2024: List of Ineligible Candidates, Round 3 Seat Matrix Out; Choice Filling Begins Today
UP NEET UG round 3 counselling choice filling and locking process will be ongoing till October 15, 2024, for which the seat matrix and list of ineligible candidates are now available at upneet.gov.in.
The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) has released the list of ineligible candidates for UP NEET round 3 counselling 2024 at the official website. The authorities have released the document rejected candidate list and list of students with unpaid security fees separately on upneet.gov.in. Note that, the ineligible candidates will not be eligible to participate in the UP NEET 2024 round 3 choice filling and locking process.
The UP NEET UG 2024 choice filling and locking process for round 3 counselling will be conducted between October 11 to 15, 2024. It is suggested that students check the UP NEET UG 2024 round 3 seat matrix before filling the preferences in order to be informed about the list of vacant seats.

Students who have been named in the UP NEET round 3 merit list 2024 have to complete the choice filling using the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the official website - upneet.gov.in
- Click on the 'Counselling' link followed by the 'Choice filling (UG)' link
- Login using allocated credentials
- The list of available choices will be available on screen
- Select the desired college/ programme as per preference.
- Check the added list carefully and lock the preferred choices.

Q: How many rounds will be conducted in UP NEET counselling 2024?
DGME, Lucknow will conduct total three counselling rounds including a mop-up round for the allocation of seats to the candidate. Candidates will have to register with login credentials generated during application process. After registration, choice of college and course will have to be selected and lock them in. Seats will be allotted based on choice declared by candidates, NEET 2024 rank, availability of seats in particular college and course, and reservation factor.
Q: What is the seat matrix for UP MBBS counselling 2024?
Counseling will be held for allotment of 6,428 MBBS and 2,251 BDS seats in 32 medical and 23 dental colleges across the state. The seats will be allotted based on declared choice by candidate, availability of seats, reservation factor, NEET 2024 rank etc. A separate result PDF will be released for each round of UP NEET 2024 counselling.
