UP NEET PG Counselling 2024: Round 3 Dates Out @upneet.gov.in; Check Schedule
UP NEET PG 2024 round 3 counselling dates are now available at the official website upneet.gov.in for students willing to get admission in MD, MS programme based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate scores at medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh state.
The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Uttar Pradesh has announced the UP NEET PG round 3 counselling schedule 2024 at the official website. Students who have qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) and still not receive any seat during the previous two rounds of counselling can now apply for the round 3 counselling process in online mode at upneet.gov.in.
As per the schedule, the online registration fee payment and deposition of security money will be initiated on January 7, 2025. Students willing for admission in PG medical courses i.e. MD, MS, Diploma and DNB programmes at 50% State Quota seats in Uttar Pradesh will be able to fill their choices between January 8 to 10, 2025.

Students must note that only registered candidates under UP NEET PG 2024 counselling will be eligible to participate in the choice-filling and locking process. Earlier registered candidates did not need to deposit the registration fee and security amount. Only those registered candidates who have deposited the registration fee and security amount will be eligible for the counselling process.

Number of seats to be allotted through UP NEET PG counselling 2024 will be released along with the official brochure. last year around 923 seats were allotted through various rounds of counselling. Candidates have to register on the official website and declare choice of college and course for seat alotment.

No. Candidates will have to qualify NEET PG 2024 exam to participate in the counselling for UP medical PG admission 2024. Based on NEET PG rank and other details filled in the application form, a merit list will be released by Directorate of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh (DMET). The merit list comprises shortlisted candidates for UP NEET PG counselling 2024.
Q: Who all are eligible for UP NEET PG counselling?
Candidates will have to fulfill following eligibility criteria for UP NEET PG counselling:
- Candidate must have completed MBBS from a recognised institute located in the state of Uttar Pradesh
- Candidate who are domiciled in the state of Uttar Pradesh and have completed their MBBS degree from an institute outside Uttar Pradesh (15% AIQ seat), can also apply for UP NEET PG 2024 counselling
- Only those candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS from Uttar Pradesh are eligible for admission to the seats of government/state/private/deemed universities
- Candidates who are not domiciled in the state of Uttar Pradesh and have completed their MBBS degree from outside Uttar Pradesh can apply for seats in the private universities only. He/she must have completed the compulsory rotatory internship.
