Uttarakhand NEET PG Counselling 2024: HNBUMEU Releases Seat Surrender Notice for Candidates
Uttarakhand NEET PG round 1 or 2 allotted candidates who now wish to surrender/ resign/ withdraw their seats can do so by forfeiting the security amount submitted during the counselling process.
Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has announced Uttarakhand NEET PG seat surrender notice for round 1 and 2 candidates at the official website. Students who have been allotted a seat during Uttarakhand NEET PG round 1 or 2 counselling process and now wish to surrender/ resign/ withdraw their seats can do so by forfeiting the security amount submitted during the counselling process.
Under the notification regarding the process of surrender/resignation/withdrawal of seats admitted after the first/second phase counselling of NEET PG 2024 Uttarakhand Centralized Counseling, the authorities have also notified the UK NEET PG 2024 seat surrender deadline. As per the notice, students who wish to vacate their seats can do so before January 8, 2025 (before 6 PM). Failing to do so will result in non-vacation of seats.
"Candidates who have taken admission in the institutes through first/second phase counselling on the seat allotted by the Board through NEET PG-2024 Uttarakhand Centralized Counseling are informed that the candidates who want to leave the admitted seat by forfeiting the security amount can leave the admitted seat by appearing at the concerned institute. After 06:00 pm on 08.01.2025, no candidate will be allowed to leave the seat admitted through first/second phase counselling." The official notification reads.
Meanwhile, the authorities have submitted the procedure for admission to PG medical courses for the allotted candidates. Students can check the process to understand what needs to be done for admission purposes.

Q: When will NEET PG 2024 round-3 counselling results be declared?
Round-3 NEET PG 2024 counselling final result was to be declared on January 4, 2025 but it will be delayed as cut off has been reduced. The revised cut off percentile for general category is 15 percentiles, while for SC/ST, it is 10. The counselling result will be uploaded online in PDF format. Candidates allotted seats in round-3 will have to report for document verification. They will have to pay the admission fee and complete other formalities.
Q: When will registration begin for round 3 NEET PG 2024 counselling?
Registration for round-3 NEET PG 2024 counselling began on December 26, 2024. January 1 was the deadline for round-3 registration. Final seat allotment result for round-3 will be declared soon. Registration is mandatory to participate in the counselling. After registration, candidates will have to declare choice for college and course and lock the choices. MCC allots seats based on choice declared, reservation factor, availablity of seats and other factors.
Q: I didn't score the minimum cut off for NEET PG. Will I eligible for NEET PG counselling?
No. Candidates need the minimum cut off to qualify for NEET PG. It must be noted only those who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off score will be eligible to participate in the counselling rounds for seat allotment. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts online counselling for seat allotment. Candidates have to register and declare choice for college and course for seat allotment.
