NTA has dismissed social media message claiming students with inked fingers will be prohibited from entering examination halls conducted by NTA. The authorities denied any such information and advised students to focus on their studies and prepare for the examination.

NTA Latest Notification

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a clarification notification regarding fake message circulation concerning exam day guidelines. As per the baseless claim, students voting for Lok Sabha elections with ink on their fingers will be disqualified to appear in the entrance examination conducted by NTA.

"It has been reported to the National Testing Agency, (NTA) that there are messages circulating in social media, claiming that individuals who vote in the General Elections to the Lok Sabha and have their fingers inked will be prohibited from entering examination halls of the examinations conducted by NTA." The authority clarified.

National Testing Agency has mentioned that no such guidelines have been issued by the authority and requested students to focus on exam preparation.

"The above messages are completely baseless and NTA has not issued any such instruction/guideline. Students are requested not to pay heed to such rumours and to exercise their voting rights. Voting will not affect their eligibility to take examinations." The exam authorities further elucidated.

NTA refused to change the national-level entrance exam dates such as CUET 2024, and NEET UG 2024 irrespective of exam dates almost clashing with Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
