West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has announced the revised WB NEET PG counselling dates 2024 for round 3 PG medical admissions at the official website. Students who are willing to participate in MD/ MS programme at West Bengal medical colleges based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) scores can check the latest dates and schedule from the official website wbmcc.nic.in. Recently, WBMCC published the revised schedule on January 15, 2025, including the complete dates for round 3 admissions. However, the complete schedule was postponed by the notification on the official website. It is expected that the earlier released counselling schedule was postponed following the extension of round 3 registration by MCC for AIQ and state quota. At the present time, WBMCC will begin the round 3 counselling registration on January 21, 2025 after the reduced cutoff.

Q:   How many rounds of counselling will be organized by the WBMCC for West Bengal NEET PG counselling?

West Bengal Medical Counseling Committee (WBMCC) of Dept of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal will organize four rounds of counselling such as Round-1, Round-2, Mop-up round, and stray vacancy round. There is no caste reservation. The counselling of West Bengal PG medical admission 2024 will be conducted for admission to the 50% state quota seats of MD/MS/MDS and postgraduate Diploma courses offered by the institutes in West Bengal.

To participate in WB NEET PG counselling, individual eligible and qualified candidate can do Online Registration and follow the process mentioned below:

  • Fill out online application 
  • Online Fee Payment 
  • Candidate Profile letter generation 
  • Physical document verification at verification venue mentioned in the candidate profile letter (Swasthya Bhavan for NRI candidates only) as designated by NIC software 
  • Publication of successfully verified list
  • Exercise Choice filling and Choice locking
  • Participate in Seat allotment by the Software as per Inter se merit
  • Another Round of Physical Document Verification at the Allotted College Level
  • Admission at the Allotted College Level, during Round 1 of the Counseling.
