NDA 1 2022 Exam Analysis & Student Reaction for GAT

New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted the General Ability Test (GAT) paper on April 10. The paper was conducted in the afternoon session from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. The GAT paper was divided into two parts-English and General Knowledge. According to the feedback provided by students, the overall difficulty level of the NDA GAT paper was moderate to difficult. All the questions in GAT were based on the NDA syllabus.

NDA GAT paper comprised 150 questions and the total marks allotted to the test are 600. For the correct answer in GAT, candidates score four marks, while 1.33 marks are deducted as a penalty for wrong answers.

Shiksha visited one of the NDA 1 exam centres in West Delhi to gather feedback regarding the difficulty level of the GAT paper. Check below the feedback shared by the students regarding the GAT paper.

Aman Kumar said, "The paper was good in terms of difficulty level. There were two sections in the paper. Section A was of English and Section B comprised questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Polity, Geography."

Ishaan said, "The paper was easy in terms of difficulty level. The questions on Social Studies were of Class 10 level. Maximum questions were asked from Social Studies and GAT."

Arpit said, "The GAT paper was easy and questions were based on the topics given in the syllabus. Maximum questions were asked from History. There were 20 to 25 questions from Physics, 10 to 12 questions from Chemistry, Around 5 to 6 questions from polity."

Abhay Sharma said, "The overall paper of GAT was easy to moderate. Questions were asked from Geography, History, Politics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Current Affairs. There were questions on Brahmos missle."
