NEET PG 2022 Counselling Postponed; Candidates to benefit from more Seats
NEET PG 2022 counselling has been postponed. NMC to include more seats to benefit candidates this year. Revised schedule to be released soon.
In a recent notification shared by MCC dated August 29, 2022, NEET PG counselling 2022 has been postponed. National Medical Commission (NMC) to soon issue new LoPs for the current academic year. NEET PG counselling which was earlier scheduled to commence from September 1, 2022, has now been rescheduled. The revised dates will be updated on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
MCC has released the statement mentioning โThe candidates of NEET PG 2022 are informed that the NEET PG counselling 2022 was scheduled to commence from September 1. However, National Medical Commission (NMC) is in the process of issuing new LOPs (Letters of Permission) for the current academic year and the same will be concluded by September 15.โ
Why Postponed?
Candidates will also benefit from more seats to be added from this academic year. MCC, the official body that conducts counselling process for admission to 50 per cent all India quota (AIQ) seats, 100 per cent deemed, central universities, and AFMS (MD/ MS/ Diploma/ PG DNB) seats will soon share the revised dates for counselling session.
How to check the NEET PG Notice?
Follow these steps to download the MCC notice:
1. Visit MCC website mcc.nic.in.
2. Click on the PG Medical Counselling tab.
3. Under the News and Events section click on the notice titled 'Notice for Rescheduling in PG Counselling'.
What Next?
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website of MCC to find out the revised schedule. As the issuing process will conclude on September 15, the notice informs. โHence, in order to include more seats in the counselling for the benefit of the candidates, it has been decided by the Competent Authority to re-schedule the NEET-PG Counselling, 2022 which was scheduled to commence from 01/09/2022.โ
