NEET PG 2022 postponement: Health Minister likely to take final decision today

Dr Manish Prabhakar, President of Doctors For You Foundation and National Chairman of FAIMA Doctors Association, has said that the Health Minister can announce the final decision on NEET PG 2022 postponement today, May 10, 2022.

Dr Manish Prabhakar's tweet of yesterday reads, "Meeting of all health ministry officials was done today & they discussed each & every point with all facts & figures, & final decision will be taken hopefully tomorrow by Health Minister @drasmalhi @UDAIndia @drdeepankar07 #POSTPONENEETPG_MODIJI"

While NEET PG 2022 admit card is expected any time soon at nbe.edu.in and the exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 21, 2022, many aspirants are demanding to postpone the examination citing the insufficient gap between NEET PG 2021 counselling and NEET PG 2022 exam and also saying if the examination will be conducted as per the decided schedule, nearly 5000 interns will not be eligible to sit in the NEET PG 2022 exam as their internships got delayed due to the Covid-19 duties.

Some aspirants are demanding not to postpone NEET PG 2022

As per Dr Rohan Krishnan, the National President and Founding Member of FAIMA, the Ministry told the doctors that many students have mailed them not to postpone NEET PG 2022.

Dr Rohan Krishnan has tweeted, "One concern in our negative was told at Ministry that many students hav mailed them “ not to postpone”. I hav tried to explain them that number is very less. But all of us should also mail them to Postpone NEET PG , so that they understand we are majority."
