NEET Round 1 Counselling Seat Allotment Result on Feb 1

NEET Round 1 Counselling: The seat allotment result will be announced on February 1 and candidates can report to colleges from February 2 to 7.

The extended registration, payment of application fee, choice filling and locking facilities window for NEET Round 1 Counselling, closed on January 30. The seat allotment result will be published tomorrow, February 1 and candidates can report to the colleges from February 2 to 7.

MCC had reopened the registration window on January 28, after 8 pm. As per officials, the window was extended as the process was on hold due to the hearing of a court case. As per the court order, MCC has released a list of 58 candidates who were eligible to participate in the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) domicile seat.

MCC official notice said, "It is for the information to candidates participating in UG Counselling 2021 that is in compliance with the order issued in the matter of Gidla Bala Surya Chandra & Ors. Vs. UoI & Ors. before the Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Madras, the following list of Puducherry/ Yanam Domicile candidates is provided by DMS Office, Puducherry. Candidates who are eligible to participate in counselling as per norms of NTA/ NMC can register for JIPMER domicile seats. Such candidates can exercise choices for All India Quota and JIPMER Domicile seats according to the schedule if they meet the eligibility criteria."

NEET UG Counselling 2021 Round 1 provisional seat allotment result was announced on January 27 but was revoked soon on account of a hearing held on January 27 in the matter of Gidla Bala Surya Chandra & others v/s UoI & Ors.
