The cut-off is the minimum score candidates need to score in their respective category for admission to a participating institute.
The National Institute of Design (NID) is expected to release the institute-wise cut-offs for the B.Des and M.Des programs soon. The NID DAT cut-off is the last rank for which candidates are allocated seats. This means, if the candidate fails to secure a rank equivalent to or higher than the NID DAT 2022 cut-off rank, he or she will not be considered for admission.
The National Institute of Design has recently concluded the counseling process for NID 2022. The counseling was held online for the B.Des and M.Des courses. As part of the counseling process, seat allotment was made considering NID DAT 2022 merit ranks.
Factors considered for determining NID DAT 2022 cutoff
The cut-off for a participating institute will be determined considering the following points:
- The total number of candidates registering for the program
- The seat intake for the program
- The category under which admission is sought
- The NID DAT 2022 merit ranks of applicants
- The popularity or ranking of the participating institute

Considering, the cut-off for the current session hasnโt been released yet, the candidate may consult previous yearsโ cutoff to get an idea as to what rank they need to secure for admission.
