NID DAT Prelims result 2022 to be declared next week; check details

The DAT 2022 Prelims exam was conducted on Jan 2. Results of DAT Prelims will be used to shortlist candidates for the DAT Mains.

The National Institute of Design (NID) will declare the results of NID DAT 2022 (Prelims) in the last week of April. The results would be declared in online mode at the official website of NID - admissions.nid.edu. The candidate will be able to check their results in online mode by entering their log-in credentials.

The National Institute of Design has also notified that the NID DAT 2022 Mains exam will be conducted in hybrid mode. 

NID DAT 2022 Prelims Results - Key Features

• The results would be released for all candidates who have appeared in the DAT Prelims exam.
• The result would include the qualifying status of the candidate and marks.
• The scores of DAT Prelims 2022 would be used to shortlist candidates for DAT Mains 2022. 
• The number of shortlisted candidates will be three times the number of available seats in each category.
• The National Institute of Design hasn’t yet announced the weightage for the DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. In the academic year 2021, the DAT Prelims carried 70% weightage, whereas the DAT Mains carried 30% weightage.

DAT Mains 2022 to be conducted in HYBRID mode

The National Institute of Design has notified the DAT Mains will be conducted in hybrid mode this year given the COVID situation. The Studio Test for the B.Des program will be conducted in offline mode. In case of the M.Des program, the Studio Test will be conducted in offline mode at various NIFT campuses, while the personal interview will be held online.
