NIRF Ranking 2022: Top medical and dental colleges, AIIMS Delhi tops again
NIRF Ranking 2022 under various categories have been announced today, here are the details of the institutes that secured the top positions under medical and dental categories.
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2022 is announced just now based on various parameters. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi) has maintained its topmost position in the NIRF ranking 2022 under medical category. It has consistently secured rank 1 for the fifth time in a row in NIRF ranking 2022.
Similar to 2021 rankings, AIIMS Delhi has been followed by Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh, and Christian Medical College, Vellore in NIRF ranking 2022.
Top dental colleges based on NIRF Ranking 2022
As far as dental category is concerned, the rankings have changed this year. Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Chennai is at the top position in the dental category, it was at rank 3 in NIRF ranking 2021.
The second and third position taken by Manipal College of Dental Sciences and Manipal Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune respectively in the NIRF ranking 2022.
Last year, Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Udupi was at the first position and Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune was at second position.
Pharmacy colleges NIRF Ranking 2022
Jamia Hamdard New Delhi has ranked 1 in the top three Pharmacy colleges as per NIRF ranking 2022 followed by National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad and Punjab University Chandigarh.
The NIRF rankings are announced by Ministry of Education every year to educational institutes of India to promote competitive excellence in higher educational institutions across the country.
The NIRF ranking is given based on various parameters that include teaching, learning and resources, graduation outcome, research and professional practice, peer perception, outreach and inclusivity. All these parameters include factors like student strength, faculty-student ratio, financial resources and their utilization, percentage of Students from Other States/Countries, metric for university examinations, percentage of women and many others.
