AIIMS BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing and AIIMS MSc Nursing Entrance Exam to be Held on June 11, 2020

After multiple revision in the event dates, the AIIMS nursing 2020 exam will be held on June 11, 2020 (tomorrow) with all the readiness and measures to maintain hygiene and social distancing. Applicants can check the details here.

AIIMS has released the Admit card for the national level entrance exam for the BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing and MSc Nursing programmes on June 5, 2020. AIIMS in its recent notice issued on June 8, 2020 has confirmed that the AIIMS Nursing 2020 exam for BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing and MSc Nursing courses will be held on June 11, 2020 from 1.00 PM to 2.30 PM. The exam was postponed due to COVID -19 outbreak. The AIIMS has identified as many as 150 centres across India this year in order to maintain the social distancing guidelines issued by the Health Ministry. Below is the revised schedule of the AIIMS Nursing 2020 exam for BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing and MSc Nursing courses:

On June 5, 2020, AIIMS has published instruction for AIIMS Nursing 2020 entrance exam with social distancing. The measures that will be deployed on the AIIMS exam day, in view of the COVID-19 crisis, are mentioned below:

• AIIMS has increased the number of AIIMS Nursing 2020 centres across India from 68 (last year) to 150 centres in order to minimize the need for travel by the applicants. This will help in Implementation of guidelines for social distancing corresponding to almost 50 percent less applicants per centre.
• The AIIMS Nursing 2020 admit card, released on June 5, 2020 is also being modified this year and has a declaration printed on it regarding the COVID-19. The admit card shall have barcode for touch free entry.
• Norms of social distancing will be strictly followed at the entrance of the examination centre, at the registration desk, seating in the examination hall and exit after the examination. All the applicants have to cooperate in this regard for mutual safety. Below are the measures which will be followed strictly on the day of examination:
  • Staggered Time Entry
  • Barcode Scanning
  • Hand hygiene
  • Face Mask
  • Care of personnel belonging
  • COVID-19 self-declaration
  • Dedicated registration desk
  • Sanitization of computer node
  • Social distancing

The candidates have to bring their photo ID and not the photograph along with the AIIMS Nursing 2020 admit card this year. The photo will be verified at the registration desk and its image will be taken for record and subsequent verification as required at any stage.
