RRB NTPC CBAT Exam Centre 2022 Live: Exam City Slip Released, Admit Card & Important Guidelines

RRB NTPC CBT 2 result 2022 for Level 3 is expected to be declared soon. The result will be made available on the various regional websites of RRBs. Level 3 is an undergraduate post which includes Commercial cum Ticket Clerk.

For RRB NTPC Station Master and Commercial Apprentice are the highest-paid designations. The basic pay for both designations is Rs 35,400 but its in-hand salary is around 54,000 (x-city) including the allowances.

RRB NTPC Typing Test is conducted for Level 2 and 5 posts. Candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.

For RRB NTPC graduate-level posts, the educational qualification is graduation. For undergraduate posts, the educational qualification is Class 12.

Candidates should keep in mind the following points related to RRB NTPC CBAT exam city:

• The exam city is not the call letter it does not permit candidates to appear in the exam. It only helps candidates to know the exam city and date so that candidates can make their travel arrangements accordingly
• Candidates will be able to download their RRB NTPC admit card 2022 for CBAT four days before the exam and it will comprise all the details such as exam centre details, roll numbers, etc.
• Candidates will be able to appear for the exam on the basis of the admit card
• Candidates need to wear mask all the time in the exam centre and follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviour
• Candidates are required to carry Aadhaar Card to the exam centre

RRB NTPC CBAT exam centre allotted to candidates cannot be changed under any circumstances. Candidates were required to enter their preferences for CBAT exam centre while filling the application form.

The cut-off criteria for determining suitability of candidates is same in all the RRBs, all over the country. The qualifying marks of aptitude tests for all the RRBs are same and there is no variation at all.

The selection process of Station Master and Traffic Assistant includes two-stage CBTs, followed by CBAT. Candidates for the post of Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Time Keeper are selected based on two-stage CBTs followed by Typing Skill Test. Selection of candidates for Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice is done based on two-stage CBTs followed by document verification and medical examination.

The details regarding RRB NTPC CBAT exam centres will be mentioned on the admit card. The admit card will contain the reporting time, exam venue details, centre code, etc.

As per the selection criteria approved by the Ministry of Railways, Aptitude Tests are administered on the candidates appearing for selection in safety category staff on Indian Railways through different RRBs. The aptitude test is conducted to ensure that the candidates who posses the desired level of attributes, essential for safe train operation, are selected. 

Aptitude test is meant for assessment of required cognitive attribute in a candidate and hence there is no negative marking. 

Aptitude test is meant for recruitment of Safety Categories of Staff, hence there is no provision of reservation in Aptitude testing.

In order to qualify in aptitude tests, the candidates are required to obtain a T score of 42 on each test. T-score is the normalized score statistically formulated for application all over.

• Understand the examples to do better in the test
• Stay focussed on every question of every test throughout so that you are able to gain maximum scores
• Keep in mind the time allotted for the test and try to finish within the stipulated time
• If you find any question difficult, don’t waste time on it. Proceed to the next question
  
  

Norms and standards as laid down from time to time shall be applied uniformly to all candidates for adjudging their suitability. The cut-off for Tests is fixed on the basis of Normalized T-score. The Mean of normalized T-score is 50 and its SD is 10. The basic parameters required to calculate T-score are Mean and Standard Deviation calculated from normalized sample. Normally most of the T score fall between T scores 80 to T Score 20, however in few cases T score may fall below 20 also. Formula does not rule out possibility of T Score below 20, though their numbers may not be large. 

The city intimation does not permit candidates to appear in the exam. This is to inform them about exam date and city to make travel arrangements. Candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam if the admit card is issued.

RRB NTPC exam city intimation link has been activated. It has been observed that candidates who have been shortlisted for CBAT, have been allotted to the home state to appear for the exam.

RRB city intimation slip displays exam details such as test city, test state, date of exam, exam time, reporting time, gate closure time, exam start time and shift. RRB NTPC CBAT will be conducted in two shifts.

• Click the link 'Login to view exam city'
• Enter user ID and password
• The details of the exam city will appear on the screen
• Check the exam city and save the details

The link to view exam city for RRB NTPC CBAT will be activated soon by the RRBs. Candidates need to carry the following documents to RRB NTPC exam centre for CBAT:

• RRB NTPC CBAT Admit card
• Photo ID (Includes Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Ration Card etc.)
• A passport size photograph

Minimum 10th standard and 12th standard passed Indian citizens are eligible to apply for Group C and Group D Railway posts. The age limit for undergraduate posts is 18 to 30 years. The age limit for graduate posts is 18 to 33 years.

RRBs have released proforma for exemption certificate for PwBD candidates shortlisted for CBTST. The shortlisted PwBD candidates, who are permanently disabled due to Blindness/Low vision, Cerebral Palsy and Locomotor Disability with not less than 40% permanent disability may be exempted for CBTST, provided they upload a scanned copy of Typing Skill Test exemption certificate issued by the Competent Medical Board (constituted by Central or State Government) in the format prescribed. The link for uploading of scanned copy pf Typing test exemption certificate will be available from July 25 to 28, 2022.

The candidates need to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries of RRB NTPC CBAT to qualify. This is applicable to all candidates irrespective of community or category and no relaxation in the minimum T- Score is permissible.

The most preferred posts in RRB NTPC exam are Station Master, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice, Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist, Goods Guard.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Exam to fill various auxiliary posts in the Indian Railways. The recruitment is done for the various graduate and undergraduate posts.

Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing the requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates. • Ex SM candidates who secure civil employment after applying for this CEN should give self-declaration to the concerned employer about the details of application against this CEN as soon as they join. The acknowledged copy of this declaration along with NOC from the civil employer should be produced during document verification

Candidates are required to produce all original documents with two sets of self-attested photocopies of all documents at the time of Document Verification. All Certificates should be either in English or in Hindi only. Where certificates are not in English / Hindi, self-attested translated version (In Hindi / English) should be produced wherever / whenever required. Certificates produced during the document verification should be strictly in the prescribed formats. 

The Railway Recruitment Board or popularly known as RRB conducts the RRB NTPC exam to recruit for the post of Goods Guard, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Traffic Appraise, Assistant Clerk cum Typist, etc

RRB has announced a total of 88 vacancies for Traffic Assistant post. A total of 6865 vacancies have been announced for the Station Master post.

In case of two or more candidates securing same marks, their merit position shall be determined by age criteria i.e., older person shall be placed at higher merit and in case age being same, then alphabetical order (A to Z) of the name shall be taken into account to break the tie.

The SM/TA merit list will be drawn only from amongst the candidates qualifying in the CBAT, with 70 per cent weightage for the marks obtained in the CBT 2 and 30 per cent weightage for the marks obtained in CBAT.

On the basis of performance in NTPC CBT 2 and CBAT, candidates equal to the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification as per their merit and options. Candidates shall be finally appointed after passing the requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates, and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates.

Aadhaar-linked Biometric authentication of candidates will be done in the exam center prior to entry into the exam hall. Candidates are required to bring their original Aadhaar card. 

Candidates will have to qualify in each of the test batteries of CBAT for considering them for the post of SM/TA. The CBAT shall have questions and answer options only in English and Hindi. There is no negative marking in CBAT.

RRB NTPC salary for Level 4 is INR 25,500 and it falls under the category of undergraduate posts. The basic salary of RRB NTPC Level 6 is INR 35,400.

RRB NTPC CBAT exam is conducted for the posts of Station Master and Traffic Assistant. These posts fall under pay levels 4 and 6 respectively.

Around 55,000 to 57,000 candidates are expected to appear for RRB NTPC CBAT. Total number of candidates shortlisted for appearing in CBAT is eight times the revised vacancy has been shortlisted for the post of Station Master and Traffic Assistant.

The Railways will now use Google Maps to link the location of candidates appearing for their exams to test centres within a 300-km radius to cut their travel time. The process will be rolled out in the Level 6 & 4 CBAT to be held on July 30.

RRB NTPC CBAT exam centre is released 10 days prior to the exam so that candidates can make their travel arrangements beforehand to reach the exam centre easily. Candidates are advised to book their tickets after they get the details of their exam cities.
