RRB NTPC 2021 Revised Result: How many unique candidates will be selected will be shortlisted for CBT 2
RRBs will select 20 times unique candidates for CBT 2 exam. Those who have qualified the exam as per the previous result will appear for CBT 2. RRBs will publish additional list of candidates.

RRB NTPC CBT 1 and RRB Group CBT exam dates announced
RRB NTPC CBT 1 and RRB Group D CBT exam dates have been announced. The CBT 2 exam for pay level 6 will be held in May 2022. The CBT 2 exam for other pay levels will be conducted after giving a reasonable gap. RRB Group D CBT will be conducted in July 2022.

RRB Group D, NTPC Live Updates: Check the important announcements by RRBs
The important announcements made by RRBs for RRB NTPC and RRB Group D exams are given below:
- 20 times unique candidates will be shortlisted with Pay Level wise for 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for CEN 01/2019 (NTPC).
- The candidates already announced qualified will continue to remain qualified.
- The list of additional candidates getting shortlisted will be notified at each Pay Level.
- RRB wise 2nd Stage CBT for each Pay Level with all candidates of one RRB accommodated in a single shift which should eliminate normalization. Wherever single shift is not possible because of capacity constraints or otherwise, percentile based normalization will be done.
- CEN RRC-01/2019 (Level-1) will be a single stage exam. There will be no second stage CBT.
- RRC wise CBT will be held for Level-1. Also maximum available capacity is recommended to be used, to significantly reduce the number of shifts involved for each RRC and to speed up the examination
process. - Percentile based normalization, which is simple and easy to understand, will be used wherever the number of shifts involved are more than one Medical standards as prescribed in Indian Railway Medical Manual (IRMM) will be used for different posts of Level-1
- Any available Income and Asset Certificate for candidates, who have applied under Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), will be considered as Valid

English is the default language. In case the candidate wishes to choose any other language, then the same can be selected from the drop down list of languages. The languages listed are Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. In case of any difference/ discrepancy/dispute in the questions between English and the opted language, the content of the English version shall prevail.

RRB NTPC CBT 1 Result 2021: Students alleged that candidates four to five times the number of vacancies were shortlisted for CBT 2
After the announcement of the RRB NTPC CBT 1 result, students alleged that only four to five times the number of vacancies students were shortlisted for CBT 2 exam. However, RRBs said that it has shortlisted candidates 20 times the number of vacancies. The result contained 7,05,446 roll numbers which is 20 times notified vacancies of 35281.

RRB NTPC 2021 Live Updates: Know the process of shortlisting of candidates for second stage CBT
In 2015, candidates 10 times the notified were called for second stage CBT for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). This was to ensure that the number is limited to the extent that the same can be managed in one or limited shifts to avoid extensive normalization as well as to ensure that adequate candidates are available for deciding the merit after initial screening is done through first stage CBT. Then the same was followed for Employment Notification (CEN) 02/2010 (for Graduates) and CEN 04/2010 (for 10+2) where candidates 10 times the vacancies were called for second stage CBT before increasing the same to 15 times for CEN 03/2015 (Graduates). For CEN 01/2019, candidates 20 times the number of vacancies are selected for second stage CBT.

Railway grievance committee submits report, decision soon
The Railway grievances committee has submitted its report to the Ministry of Railways. The committee has submitted its report after compiling the grievances lodged by the students till February 16.
