RRB NTPC and RRB Group D exams have been put on hold by the Ministry of Railways. A high-level committee has been formed to examine the matter. Candidates can lodge their grievances through email to the committee till February 16. The committee will submit the report by March 4, 2022.

Amid RRB NTPC 2021 result protests, Ministry of Railways have put RRB NTPC and RRB Group D exams on hold. A high power committee has been formed to look into the concerns and doubts raised by candidates in regard to the RRB NTPC CBT 1 result. The committee has been formed to look into the issues raised by candidates and give recommendations such as results of CBT 1 and methodology used for shortlisting candidates for second stage without affecting existing shortlisted candidates and introduction of second stage CBT in RRB Group D. Candidates can lodge their concerns and suggestions to the committee at rrbcommittee@railnet.gov.in till February 16, 2022. The committee after examining the concerns will submit their recommendations by March 4, 2022. All Chairpersons of RRBs have also been directed to receive the grievances of candidates through their existing channels, compile these grievances and send the same to committee. 

RRB NTPC 2021 results have sparked protests in several parts of the country wherein agitators have blocked railway tracks and also burnt trains. Even candidates are also raising their voices against conducting CBT 2 exam in RRB Group D exam.#RRB_NTPC, #JusticeForStudents, #no_cbt_2_in_group_d and #RRBGroupD is trending on social media.

On January 24, Railway Recruitment Boards have warned candidates of lifetime debarment from railway jobs if they are found indulging in unlawful activities.

Earlier, RRB NTPC 2021 CBT 2 exam was scheduled to be conducted from February 15 to 19. RRB Group D CBT 1 exam was scheduled to commence from February 23 in multiple phases. However, these two exams have been put on hold till the time the issue regarding RRB NTPC 2021 CBT 1 result is resolved. RRB NTPC 2021 CBT 1 result was announced on January 17. Over 7 lakh candidates have qualified the exam.
