RRB NTPC, Group D exams: Railway grievance committee to submit report tomorrow
The railway grievance committee will submit its report to the Ministry of Railways tomorrow. After submission of the report, further action will be taken on RRB NTPC and Group D exams.
The railway grievance committee will submit its report to the Ministry of Railways tomorrow (March 4). The committee was formed to look into the concerns raised by candidates with regard to the result of RRB NTPC and introduction of the CBT 2 exam in RRB Group D. More than one lakh queries have been received by the railway grievance committee.
Submission of Grievances
Candidates were allowed three weeks till February 16 to the High Power Committee. Large number of complaints have been received through the google form and email. Outreach camps were also conducted across different areas of the state by the Railway Recruitment Boards which included personal interaction, email, and paper submissions. The Committee will take up notable issues raised by candidates

What were the Concerns of Students?
The major concern raised by the students was Railway Recruitment Board has shortlisted seven lakh roll numbers instead of seven lakh candidates. This means the candidates might have been shortlisted for both graduate and undergraduate posts. This, however, reduces the chances of selection of other candidates.
The concerns of RRB Group D candidates were the introduction of the CBT 2 exam. Earlier, only one Computer Based Test was conducted for selection of candidates. The CBT 2 exam has been introduced due to a large number of applicants.

Protests across Various Parts
Alleging a scam in the recruitment process, students had staged protests in various parts. In Bihar, the protests turned violent. Even Railways had said that it will debar the candidates engaged in creating ruckus from all the railway exams.
