Russia-Ukraine crisis: Indian Embassy asks students to leave, not wait for confirmation on online classes

Indian Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine has once again issued an advisory to Indian students to leave the country and not wait for official communication for the university they are enrolled with regarding online classes.
The Embassy of India is receiving a large number of calls asking about the confirmation of online classes by Medical Universities. The embassy has stated that it discussing with Ukrainian medical universities the possibility of online classes for students.
However, it has advised students to leave temporarily and not wait for official confirmation from their university. As per the fresh advisory: the “Embassy is engaged with respective authorities for streamlining of the education process for Indian students. Students are advised, in the interest of their safety, to leave Ukraine temporarily, rather than wait for an official confirmation from universities.
The Indian Embassy has stated that updates received in this regard would be conveyed subsequently.
Earlier, the Indian Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine has issued several advisories to Indians particularly students in Ukraine to leave the country temporary. The advisory has been issued in view of continued tensions in Ukraine and fear of Russian invasion.
Last night a special flight left from Ukraine to Indian carrying Indians. The Embassy has also informed that available commercial flights and charter flights may be availed for travel, for an orderly and timely departure.
