CSIR NET 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UP STF) exposed a racket regarding the CSIR NET 2024 paper leak during a surprise visit to a private university named Subharti University in Meerut. The CSIR NET 2024 Exam was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Let us inform you that the CSIR NET 2024 exam started on July 25 and will end on July 27, 2024. The CSIR NET 2024 exam has not yet concluded, and a paper leak is causing news storms everywhere. How was the racket exposed? What was going on during the CSIR NET 2024 Life Science exam? CSIR NET 2024 Exam Day 2: How a racket was exposed by the UP STF?

The UP STF did a surprise raid in a Subharti University Meerut on July 26, 2024, where the CSIR NET 2024 Day 2 (Life Science exam) was ongoing. In the lab, it was found that an administration computer was used to help a solver from outside solve the paper. An extra admin computer was operational in the server room via local area network (LAN), and two laptops consisting of 'Any Desk' remote access software were installed in them. A cell phone was also recovered via the STF team from an employee in the lab, having the roll numbers of four candidates and the IP addresses of their systems, according to the ADG.

He further stated that these IP addresses of the candidates' systems were shared by a person outside the examination lab so that he could access the screen of the candidate and help them by solving the questions and sharing the answers. He added that the STF team also retrieved the details from the deleted file of the cellphone recovered and found details of eleven candidates who appeared in the first and second shifts of the CSIR UGC NET examination held on July 25, 2024. According to the ADG (law and order) Amitabh Yash, one person was arrested, and four people were detained by the police.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the CSIR NET Exam 2024 on July 25 and 26, 2024, at various centres across the country. The Earth, Physical, and Mathematical Science exams were conducted on July 25 in two shifts. The Life Science exam was conducted on July 26, 2024, in two shifts. The Chemical Science exam will be held on July 27, 2024. The CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam consists of three parts: Part A, Part B, and Part C.

CSIR NET Notification 2024 for the December Session has been released by the National Testing Agency on the official website. Along with the notification, CSIR NET December Application Form 2024 is also released by the NTA. Interested candidates will be able to apply for the CSIR NET 2024 exam by registering on the official website. The NTA will release the CSIR NET Notification in a PDF format.

The CSIR NET 2024 exam dates for the December session are February 16 to February 28, 2025. However, the June session was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for 5 subjects from July 25 to July 27, 2024. The National Testing Agency NTA has been entrusted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to conduct the Joint CSIR UGC NET exam to determine the eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) in Indian universities and colleges. There will be five papers: Mathematical Science, Life Science, Chemical Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. Normally, NTA CSIR UGC NET is conducted twice a year in June and December. The CSIR NET exam is held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

Q:   Which are the cities where CSIR NET exam is conducted?

The CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test) exam is conducted in various cities across India. CSIR NET exam is conducted in a total of 225 cities. The cities where the exam is conducted are spread across different states and regions of India, and include major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, and others. Candidates can select their preferred city for appearing in the exam during the online application process, subject to availability. The exact list of cities where the exam will be conducted is usually announced by the CSIR along with the notification for the exam.

Q:   What photo ID proofs do I need to carry to the CSIR NET exam centre?

A:
Candidates need to carry anyone of photo-ID proofs such as Passport/ PAN Card/Driving License/ Voter Card/ Bank Passbook/ Aadhaar Card/ Ration Card. Candidates will be allowed to carry the following items to the CSIR NET examination centres: a) Personal transparent water bottle, b) Personal hand sanitiser (50 ml) c) A simple transparent Ball Point Pen d) CSIR NET admit card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website e) Additional passport-size photograph f) Original valid ID proof No candidate will be allowed to enter the centre wearing his/ her own mask. The face mask will be provided at the centre.
