The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) successfully conducted IBPS Clerk 2023 shift 1 prelims exam on August 26, 2023 from 9 AM to 10 AM. According to students, the overall difficulty level of IBPS Clerk shift 1 exam was easy to moderate. The Quantitative Aptitude section was moderate, English section was easy and Reasoning section was moderate. Questions in the Quant section were asked from Data Interpretation, Arithmetic, Simple Interest & Compound Interest, Ratio and Proportion, etc. In Reasoning, most questions were asked from Seating Arrangement, Puzzles, Blood Relation, Syllogism, etc. Questions in English were asked from Reading Comprehension Cloze Test, Spotting Error, etc.

IBPS Clerk Shift 1 Analysis 2023: Student Reaction

Shiksha visited one of the IBPS Clerk prelims exam centres in Noida to gather the feedback shared by students regarding the difficulty level of the exam. Check below the feedback shared by students.
Ashish Dubey said, "The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy. The questions were very basic and easy. There were questions from Simple Interest in Maths. The English section was easy in terms of difficulty level."
Hitesh said, "The paper was moderate. The difficulty level of English was easy to moderate. The Maths and Quant sections were moderate. IBPS Clerk prelims cut off 2023 for general category is expected to be around 81-82."

Promod Sahu said, "The overall difficulty level of the exam was easy. All the sections were easy in terms of difficulty level. In English, mostly questions were asked from Reading Comprehension."

Rahul said, "I have attempted 91 questions. The level of questions was moderate in terms of difficulty level. The Maths questions were calculative. IBPS Clerk prelims cut off is expected to be around 75 for the General category. In Reasoning, questions were asked about Blood Relations, Puzzles, Alphabet Series, Word Formation, etc. Questions in Maths were mostly asked from Compound Interest."
