The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has opened applications for 17 assistant professor roles across its campuses located in New Delhi, Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir), Amravati (Maharashtra), Aizawl (Mizoram), Kottayam (Kerala), and Dhenkanal (Odisha). Qualified individuals can submit their applications on the official website. The last date to submit application is June 6, 2024 (5 PM). 

Those interested can submit their updated CVs and filled application forms to iimcrecruitmentcell@gmail.com, specifying the campus(es) they are applying for. Multiple campus applications are permissible, and also they should indicate their preferences accordingly. Apart from that, if applying for more than one position at IIMC, then state in the application form. 

Who can apply for IIMC Assistant Professor Posts? 

Candidates with a Master's degree in Journalism/Mass Communication with a minimum of 55% marks and should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) or its equivalent. Additionally, a minimum of three years of relevant experience is required.

These positions are initially on a contractual basis for one year (two semesters), which can be extended based on performance and feedback. They should be under the age of 55 as of the application deadline.
