Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) invites civil services aspirants to apply for its residential coaching academy through which it provides free coaching to civil services exam aspirants. The University started this facility exclusively for candidates belonging to minorities, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe category. Jamia Millia encourages women candidates to take up this opportunity in which the university offers free coaching along with hostel facilities.

Jamila Millia Islamia Civil Services Coaching: Details

The university invites applications to prepare students for the Civil Services Exam 2021. The last date to submit the application forms for enrollment is June 15. A total number of 208 seats are available for coaching. Candidates who have completed their graduation are eligible to take the exam. Out of the total, 10 per cent of the seats will be reserved for candidates below 24 years of age.

JMI Civil Services Coaching: Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be based on the entrance exam which will be conducted at Delhi, Srinagar, Lucknow, Guwahati, Bengaluru and Malappuram. While talking about the conducting of the examination, the University stated, “The dates of written test, interview and final results, etc. will be notified soon on JMI website."

For reference, candidates can access the previous years' question paper available on the official website of Jamia Millia.

The coaching will assist the civil services aspirant and prepare them for the upcoming civil services exam 2021. The coaching will include classes on general studies, CSAT and optional papers, test series, answer's evaluation and essay writing practice.

The university made this clear that the candidates who already availed the facilities of the coaching for the last three years and never appeared for civil services interview will not be eligible to fill the form and appear in the entrance test.
