NDA 2 2024 Application Form Correction Window OUT Live Updates: Check Steps to Edit Application Form

UPSC activated the window to edit NDA 2 application form 2024. Candidates can make corrections in the application form till June 11, 2024. To modify the application form, candidates need to login with the OTR ID.

The apply online link for NDA 2 2024 exam will close at 6 PM. Candidates should hurry up and apply for the exam. 

Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 2006 and not later than 1st January, 2009 are eligible.

Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of the NDA 2 application form 2024. Candidates need to apply online for the exam only.

SSB interview for the candidates qualified in the written examination is likely to be held during the months of January, 2025 to April, 2025. The SSB Interview is conducted in two stages.

NDA 2 2024 exam will be conducted on September 1, 2024. The written exam of NDA comprises two papers-Maths and GAT. The total marks allotted to the test are 900. 

Candidates appearing for SSB interview for the first time for a particular type of Commission i.e. Permanent or Short Service, shall be entitled for AC III Tier to and fro railway fare or bus fare including reservation cum sleeper charges within the Indian limits. Candidates who apply again for the same type of Commission will not be entitled to travelling allowance on any subsequent occasion.

Candidates need to secure 25 per cent in each subject of the the written exam. The total marks allotted to the test are 900.

Candidates can select three test cities while filling NDA 2 application form 2024. The test centres are allotted on the first-apply-first-allot basis. 

NDA application fee is INR 100 for General/OBC candidates. SC/ST/Sons of JCOs, Women/NCOs, ORs candidates are not required to pay the application fees.

Mathematics: Algebra, Calculus, Matrices and Determinants, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Trigonometry, Vector Algebra, Analytical Geometry Of Two and Three Dimension and Statistics and  Probability. 

GAT: The GAT syllabus of NDA is divided into two parts. Part A comprises questions from English, while Part B carries questions from General Knowledge. Questions in English part are asked from Grammar and Usage, Vocabulary, Comprehension, and Cohesion. Questions in General Knowledge are asked from Physics, Chemistry, Social Studies, General Science, Geography, and Current Events.

The selection process of NDA comprises written exam and SSB interview. The written exam carries a total of 900 marks. The SSB interview carries a total of 900 marks.

Candidate should also have details of one photo ID such as Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/School Photo ID/Any other photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government while filling the application form.

NDA  is conducted to select candidates for admission to the National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy courses. The exam is conducted twice a year to select eligible male and female candidates. The selection process for NDA exam comprises written exam and SSB interview.

NDA exam is conducted across multiple test centres in more than 70 cities. There is a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the centres except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur. NDA 2 2024 application form correction facility will be available from June 5 to 11, 2024. Candidates can make corrections in NDA application form except the choice of centre. The window to make corrections in the application form is made available seven days after the application process is closed. In case a candidate wants to carry out any change in their OTR profile during this period, they should log into the OTR platform and make the necessary changes. In other words, no change in the OTR profile can be made by visiting the window for modification in application form.

Candidates are required to upload scanned images of photograph, signature, and photo-identity card. The file should not exceed 300 kb and must be less than 20 kb.
