RPSC RAS 2021 Prelims will be conducted on October 27. See here details

RPSC RAS 2021 Prelims exam will be conducted on October 27 in a single session. Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) released a notice mentioning that the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) prelims exam 2021 will be conducted across the state on October 27. The detailed exam schedule will be released later.

It is still not clear from the notice that whether the exam will be conducted in offline or online mode. But the new notice has indicated that the exam will be conducted in an offline mode as conducted in the past years. Earlier, RPSC released the notice mentioning the RAS prelims 2021 exam will be conducted on two days, that is on October 27 and 28.

RAS exam is a three-stage recruitment exam where the candidates need to qualify in each stage to get eligibility for the next stage. Every stage has its cutoff and the candidates need to score equal to or greater than the cutoff of that stage in his or her category.

RPSC RAS 2021 exam notification was issued on July 20, but the online application form was activated on August 4. The total number of vacancies advertised in the official notification was 988. Out of the total, 76 vacancies were of RAS. The last date to apply for the RAS 2021 exam was September 2.

RAS exam is the topmost exam conducted by RPSC to recruit candidates for the state PCS and other officers. There are 21 state services and around 16 subordinate services for which the recruitment is done through the RAS exam.
