RRB Group D 2023 notification is expected to be released in July. According to media reports, more than 2 lakh vacancies are expected to be filled in Group D and C posts. The recruitment process will be completed before 2024 elections.
Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are expected to release RRB Group D 2023 notification in July. According to media reports, the notification will be released in the first week of July. More than 2 lakh vacancies will be filled in Group D and C posts. The complete schedule for RRB Group D and C recruitments has been made by the Railway Ministry. The recruitment process will be completed before 2024 elections. RRB Group D notification was last released in 2019 to fill up a total of 1,03,769 vacancies.
On the other hand, #RailwayNewVacancyAlert is trending on social media wherein candidates are demanding the Railway Ministry to fill the 3 lakh vacant posts. Recently, Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw has shared in Rajya Sabha that around 3.12 lakh posts are lying vacant in Indian Railways across different departments. Among these vacant railway jobs, over 70,000 vacancies are under the safety division which includes the signal and telecommunications and traffic transportation departments all across the country.

Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the technical departments must have passed Class 10 (High School) and have National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by National Council for Vocational Training. Candidates who have passed Class 10 and ITI are also eligible for the exam.
RRB Group D Selection Process
The selection process comprises single-stage CBT, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification, and medical examination. Candidates qualifying the CBT are called for PET. Based on the performance in CBT and PET, candidates are called for document verification and medical exam.
