RRB Group D notification 2024 will be released soon by RRBs. According to RRB Group D 2024 eligibility, the age limit of candidates should be between 18 to 33. Both ITI and non-ITI candidates can apply for the exam.

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced RRB Group D vacancies 2024. RRB Group D 2024 notification will be released for a total of 32,438 vacancies. Candidates appearing for the exam should fulfill RRB Group D eligibility in terms of age limit, educational qualification and nationality. According to RRB Group D 2024 eligibility, the age limit of candidates should be between 18 to 33. For RRB Group D exam, candidates must have passed Class 10 (High School) and have National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by the National Council for Vocational Training. Candidates who have passed Class 10 and ITI are also eligible for the exam.

RRB Group D application form 2024 will be released online. The application fee is INR 500 (for all candidates except the fee concession categories). The fee for PwBD/Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class is INR 250. The application fee is refunded after appearing in the CBT exam.

Q:   Can a 12th pass apply for RRB Group D?

A:

As per the minimum academic qualification, candidates who wish to apply for the RRB Group D exam must have qualified 10+2 while the age limit required for the exam is 18 to 30 years. Candidates must adhere to the eligibility criteria prescribed for the exam. Candidates not following the eligibility criteria are rejected from the recruitment process.

Q:   What is the educational qualification required for RRB Group D exam?

A:

For the RRB Group D exam, the age of candidates should be between 18 and 33 years. Candidates must have completed Class 10 from an Institution recognised by NCVT/SCVT or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT to apply for the exam. The prescribed medical standards for the exam is given below.

Q:   What is RRB Group D eligibility?

A:
The minimum education qualification for candidates applying to the technical departments that is Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and Signal & Telecom departments) and catering wing of Railways will be Class 10 pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by National Council for Vocational Training or Class 10 pass plus ITI. The revised eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification is applicable for all future recruitments notified after June 15, 2019 in Level-1 posts. Earlier, NAC or ITI was not mandatory to apply for RRB Group D 2022 exam. RRB Group D age limit is 18 to 33 years.
