RRB Group D Mumbai cut off 2018 for different categories is given below.

RRB Secunderabad cut off 2022 will be released soon. However, the boards had announced the result for CBT on December 22. The cut off will be released category-wise and based on the cut off marks, candidates have been shortlisted for PET.

The category-wise RRB Ajmer Group D Cut off 2018 are given below.

The minimum marks required to qualify the exam is called cutoff score. It is the score of qualified candidates who have been selected for the next round of examination. The cutoff score for each category varies from each other because the qualifying marks criteria. 

RRB Group D score has been calculated based on the revised marking scheme. Under which the percentile score of each candidate has been converted by RRBs into normalised marks by interpolation of the raw marks into the base shift. The calculation of base shift has been done using the standard mathematical formula of interpolation. The purpose of interpolation of the raw marks into the base shift is to decide the minimum qualifying marks as well as give weightage in marks to CCAA candidates.

The Percentile score of a Candidate for a particular shift will be calculated as below:

RRB Group D CBT score has been calculated as per the RRB Group D marking scheme. For each correct answer, candidates scored one mark while 1/3 marks have been deducted for wrong answers.The score is calculated based on the number of correct answers after applying the penalty for wrong answers. 

RRB Group D merit list contains the roll number of qualified candidates as per the marks and rank. The merit list has been prepared as per the candidate's marks obtained in the examination. Candidates scoring higher marks have placed high in merit. While preparing the list category-wise qualifying marks have been also considered.  

RRB Group D result 2022 has been declared in the PDF format and contains the roll number of candidates who have been selected for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). RRB Group D Bhopal 2022 scorecard will be released on December 27, 2022. The candidates have to login into their registered account to access the RRB Group D scorecard.

 A total of 103769 vacancies were released for the recruitment of candidates in the Railways by the RRB. The total vacancies have been divided into regions. Different regions have a different total number of vacancies. The candidates will be selected according to the cutoff set by the RRB.

RRBs have used percentile-based normalisation for the calculation of RRB Group D scores. In Percentile-Based normalisation, the marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each shift of examinees. The percentile score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored equal to or below (same or lower raw scores) that particular percentile in that examination. The percentile score of each candidate will be converted by RRBs into normalised marks by interpolation of the raw marks into the base shift. The calculation of base shift will be done using the standard mathematical formula of interpolation. The purpose of interpolation of the raw marks into the base shift is to decide the minimum qualifying marks as well as give weightage in marks to CCAA candidates.

RRB Group D PET will be conducted from January 12, 2023 onwards. Different Railway boards will release separate schedule for PET.

RRB Group D Scorecard displays the following details.

RRB Group D result 2022 has been announced by the different RRBs. Candidates three times the number of vacancies have been selected for PET. The complete schedule of PET will be informed by the RRBs separately. 

Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAA) candidates are also exempted from PET and hence, their roll numbers are also not included in this list. Accordingly, the Cutoff Percentile Score/Normalized Marks of the CCAA candidates shall be published along with the result for Document Verification by Railway Recruitment Cells (RRC) of respective Zonal Railways. CCAA candidates are given due weightage for the marks. At this stage, PET exemption/weightage for the marks to CCAA candidates are purely based on their declaration about their Railway act apprenticeship status of possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the application in terms of Para 12 of CEN RRC 01/2019 and the NCVT Marks uploaded by the candidates through the link provided vide RRB’s Notice dated 22.07.2022, 31.07.2022 and 08.09.2022. However, they will be eligible for further stages only after successful DV (Document Verification) to be conducted by Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs).

RRB Group D result 2022 was first announced by RRB Bhopal. A total of 10743 candidates had qualified the exam.

RRB Kolkata Group D result 2022 has been released by RRB Kolkata. A total of 26,476 candidates have qualified the exam. The cut off percentile score is 96.62 percent for unreserved category, 90.67 for SC, 83.76 percent for ST, 94.88 percent for OBC and 85.45 percent for EWS.

RRBs will give relaxation to transgender candidates in PET. The physical standards of transgender candidates will be treated as per female candidates. Earlier, their physical standards were treated as male candidates. The gender given in the online application may be used for giving relaxation in PET. Their transgender status will be verified later at the time of medical exam. This relaxation will be applicable in future too.

CCAAs trained in railway establishment will be given due weightage of marks obtained in their NCVT exam in preparation of final merit list after the conduct of CBT. CCAAs are also exempted from Physical Efficiency Test (PET) since they are already trained in the railway establishments and meet the physical standard required for performing their jobs. The empanellment of candidates to the post of Railway Group D will be done only after document verification and qualifying the medical standards.

Base Shift as a shift having the ‘Highest Mean’ (Average) among all the shifts of CBT with a condition that its ‘Present Candidate Count’ should be 70 per cent or more than the average of all shifts. In case the ‘Highest Mean’ of two shifts is the same then shift having ‘Highest Individual Marks’ is considered as ‘Base Shift’. In case both ‘Highest Mean’ and ‘Highest Individual Marks’ are the same then the shift having ‘Highest Present Candidate Count’ is considered as ‘Base Shift’ to break the tie.

The official notice regarding RRB Group D result reads, “The results of CBT for shortlisting of candidates for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is currently under process and the results are tentatively scheduled to be published in the official websites of RRBs on or before December 24, 2022."

In the CBT a total number of 1,15,67,248 candidates appeared against 1,03,769 Group D posts. The merit list for CBT is prepared who secures the cut off marks as per their categories. Candidates whose names/roll numbers feature in the merit list are called for the next round of selection.

• Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all those who appear for the examination. The marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each shift of examinees
• The percentile score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored equal to or below (same or lower raw scores) that particular percentile in that examination. Therefore, the topper (highest score) of each shift will get the same percentile of 100 which is desirable
• In percentile-based normalisation, the marks obtained between the highest and lowest scores are also converted to appropriate percentiles
• The percentile score will be the normalised score for the examination (instead of the raw marks of the candidate) and will be used for the preparation of the merit lists
• The percentile scores for the raw score of all the candidates for all the shifts will be merged and called the RRC scores which will then be used for the compilation of results and further processing for deciding the merit allocation
• The percentile scores will be calculated up to 5 decimal places to avoid the bunching effect and reduce ties
• In case of two or more candidates secure the same normalised percentile score, their merit position will be determined by age criteria. The older person will be placed at higher merit and in case age being the same, then the alphabetical order (A to Z) of the name shall be taken into account to break the tie

Once the RRB Group D CBT result is announced to select candidates for PET round. In this round, the fitness of candidates is evaluated by the board.
