RRB Group D 2022 Result Live: Zone-wise Group D Merit List Download Link

After the release of RRB Group D Result 2022, candidates are required to have the following details to check it:

• Application Number / Password
• Name of the candidate
• Date of Birth of the Candidate

RRB Group D scorecard 2022 will be released along with the result. To download the scorecard, candidates need to enter user ID and password. The scorecard will contain the total marks, raw score, percentitle score, cut off marks, etc.

RRB Group D question papers 2022 for the first stage CBT was released along with the answer key on October 14. The question papers were released for different shifts of the exam in PDF form.

In case of two or more candidates secure same normalised percentile score, their merit position will be determined by age criteria i.e., older person will be placed at higher merit and in case age being same, then alphabetical order (A to Z) of the name shall be taken into account to break the tie.

Free Sleeper Class Railway Pass will be provided to SC/ST candidates appearing in DV. For such candidates, free Sleeper Class Railway Pass will be part of admit card. Candidates need to show the travel pass during their journey.

Candidates who had passed Class 10 (High School) from an institution recognized by NCVT/SCVT or held National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) provided by NCVT are eligible to apply for RRB Group D recruitment exam.

Following are the job roles for Track Maintainer in Indian Railways:

• Maintaining tracks
• Will have to walk along the track checking the condition of the track, attend to minor works like tightening/providing clamps, joints, etc.
• Keep an eye over the breakdown of tracks
• Provides proper, safe, and smooth track to the trains
• Look over every repair and maintenance of the track line

RRB Group D science syllabus carries topics and sub-topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Life Sciences. The standard of these topics is of CBSE Class 10 level.

A total of 14,870 RRB Group D vacancies have been announced for Assistant Pointsman.

A total of 40,721 RRB Group D vacancies have been announced for the Track Maintainer post.

Total marks allotted to RRB Group D exam are 100. The General Science and Maths sections carries 25 marks. The General Intelligence and Reasoning section carries 30 marks and General Awareness and Current Affairs section carries 20 marks.

A total of 1,03,769 vacancies have been announced for RRB Group D exam. Northern Railway, DMW and RCF have the highest number of vacancies.

Questions in RRB Group D General Intelligence and Reasoning section are asked from Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement-Arguments and Assumptions etc. 

The important topics for RRB Group D Maths section are  Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc.

RRB Group D exam pattern for CBT comprises four sections: General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. The total duration of the test is 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied by the scribe). The test paper comprises a total of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. 

RRB Group D age limit is 18 to 33 years. The details regarding the age limit is given below.

Candidates called for DV are required to pass requisite medical fitness tests conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the they are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the posts. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria of medical fitness of railway staff. RRB Group D medical standard is given below.

There is a negative marking for incorrect answers in the CBT. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question are deducted for each wrong answer.

Shortlisting of candidates for PET will be done at a rate three times the number of vacancies. Shortlisting for PET will be based on the merit of candidates in CBT.

RRB will use percentile score for normalisation across different shifts. Percentile score is based on the relative performance of all those who appear for the exam. The marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each shift.

RRB Group D is conducted in different phases-CBT, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Candidates need to qualify all the stages of selection to get recruited to the different posts of RRB Group D.

RRBs are soon expected to announce RRB Group D result 2022 for the computer based test. The result will be announced on the respective regional websites of RRBs. To check the result, candidates need to enter their login credentials.

RRB Group D expected cut off given below has been calculated based on the difficulty level of the exam.

The application fee of RRB Group D is refunded to candidates after they appear for CBT. Candidates belonging to SC / ST/ ExSM/ PwBD/ Female/ Minority/EBC/Transgender categories will be entitled to get a full refund of their examination fees, which is INR 250. Whereas candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC categories receive a partial refund of their examination fees, which is INR 400 after deducting the bank charges.

RRB Group D 2022 exam was conducted from August 17 to October 11, 2022. The phase-wise exam dates are given below:

RRB Group D answer key 2022 was released on October 14. Along with the answer key, candidates' response sheets, and question papers for different shifts & phases were also made available. The window to raise objection against RRB Group D answer key 2022 was activated on October 15 at 10 am. The last date to raise an objection was October 19.

Candidates qualifying the CBT exam will appear for PET. The selection of candidates for PET will be done three times the number of vacancies in the order of merit. Male candidates are expected to run certain meters in the given time in one chance. The distance to be covered by female candidates is a bit different.

The overall paper of RRB Group D exam was easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. The General Awareness section was moderate, General Science section was moderate, Maths section was moderate, General Intelligence and Reasoning section was moderate.

Candidates must have passed Class 10 or have an ITI degree or diploma to be eligible for RRB Group D exam 2022.

The basic RRB Group D salary is INR 18,000 per month according to 7th CPC. Candidates are given allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), Daily Allowance, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance (HRA), Allowance for Night Duty, Medical Facilities, Overtime Allowance etc. The in-hand salary of RRB Group Posts is INR 22,500-INR 25,380 per month.
