Yes, the SSC JE 2023 selection process was changed on February 28, 2023. The Commission will not conduct the Document Verification (DV) at its regional offices instead, it will be conducted at the indented departments. The SSC JE selection process comprises three steps: 

• Tier 1 exam: A compucter based test (CBT) is conducted by the SSC to select candidates for the Tier 2 exam. The selection is done in the ratio of 1:3 (3 candidates per seat). 
• Tier 2 exam: It uis also a CBT exam to shortlist the candidates for the Documnet Verification (DV). 
• Document Verification (DV): The shortlisted candidates have to present thier certificates and documents to the SSC. The commission verifies documents and after that are appointed to various departments according to their preferences.

No, the SSC JE result has not been released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) yet as the SSC JE exam is yet to be conducted for the year 2023. The SSC JE Tier 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted between October 9 to 11, 2023. On the other hand, the Tier exam will be conducted on December 4, 2023.

The SSC JE paper 2 is a witten exam which is subject specific (Engineering based- Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical). The commission releases the admit card for the SSC JE Paper 2 exam separately for the candidtaes who qualifies for the Paper 1 exam. The admit card/hall ticket is released four to five days prior to the exam date.
